Approach Broad Creek from Calibogue Sound
by leaving ICW Marker #1 to port. Proceed north and then
east
up Broad Creek, following the well marked deep water
channel (12 feet at mean low water) to Markers #18 and
#19. Go between
the markers and proceed up the channel to Marker #22
which is at the beginning of the marina. There is at
least nine feet
of water in the channel. Please call in advance for reservations
(Toll-Free 866.400.7894).
The dock master’s office and fuel dock is on the right
as you enter the harbor. Call the harbormaster on VHF channel
16 before arriving to obtain a slip assignment. On arriving,
you will be directed to your slip by the dock staff and assisted
in docking. Current in the cove should not cause docking problems.
Set your fenders low as you approach the well-constructed wooden
floating docks with rubber protection guards. Dock attendants’ hours
are from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (Sunday 5:00 pm). Winter hours
are from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. |
