August 31st is National Overdose Awareness Day

August 31st is #NationalOverdoseAwarenessDay and The Hilton Head Island chapter of #GRASP (Grief Recovery After a Substance Passing) will be supplying gift bags to the Magnolia Recovery Center in memory of their loved ones.

GRASP is a non-profit organization and they are seeking donations to fill the bags. Items needed include: lip balm, shower shoes, journals, lotions, shampoo, shower gel, stamps, stationary, fuzzy socks, notes of encouragement (please do not seal envelopes), wrapped candies and gum, books, word finds, crossword puzzles and magazines. No items can contain alcohol.

From now until Friday, August 10th, Eliza Blue Boutique will serve as a collection location for donations. Eliza Bleu is located in the Harbourside II building left of the Neptune Statue. Please stop by during business hours Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm and Saturday - Sunday 11am - 6pm to support this amazing cause.

If you would like to donate after tomorrow, please contact Laura directly at fajlmj@gmail.com for pick up/drop off donation information.

Visit the GRASP website for more information on their support group: www.grasphelp.org.

Thanks again @WJCL News for covering this wonderful story!

Be sure to stop by Eliza Bleu Boutique at Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina to dop off donations by Friday, August 10th!
