Thank you to everyone for making our 33rd year of HarbourFest another rousing success
The last HarbourFest fireworks show lit up the sky over Shelter Cove Harbour and Marina closing out our 33rd year of HarbourFest. HarbourFest is Hilton Head Island’s largest multi-week event where tens of thousands of visitors gather throughout the summer for 12 firework shows, live entertainment and a variety of kids activities.
Shannon Tanner performs shows every weekday evening with the crowd singing back the words to favorite classics. Parents dance with their children, some of whom also take to the stage to perform their song of choice.
Right by the stage is the kindest clown you’ll ever meet – Cappy the Clown. Kids line up to make their face painting request, aks for their favorite balloon animal or to create their own sand art creation.
Families enjoy a scenic train ride together along the promenade and bouncy houses during fireworks nights this summer. After all the excitement of music and activities, attendees gather to face Broad Creek as each firework show begins. Everyone at Shelter Cove Harbour and Marina stop to watch the fireworks light up the sky in every color imaginable.
Thank you to everyone for making our 33rd year of HarbourFest such a rousing success. These new memories will last a lifetime for all who visited HarbourFest on Hilton Head Island. Palmetto Dunes is proud of all the efforts made to deliver a safe and secure series of multi-week events. We look forward to seeing you back in 2023 for another summer of fireworks, music, and HarbourFest magic right here on Hilton Head Island!
