HarbourFest 2025 brings music, fireworks and family fun to Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina

One of Hilton Head Island’s most beloved summer traditions is back for its 36th season! 

HarbourFest at Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina promises another unforgettable summer filled with live music, entertainment, fireworks and family fun — all set against the stunning backdrop of the Intracoastal Waterway, right across from Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort.


Running weekly throughout the summer months, HarbourFest is the perfect blend of excitement and charm that keeps families and visitors coming back year after year. With a packed schedule of lively performances, kid-friendly activities and dazzling fireworks displays, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.


Family Fun and Fan Favorites

At the heart of HarbourFest is a lineup of beloved entertainers who have become part of the festival’s tradition.

Shannon Tanner, the iconic singer-songwriter, will once again light up the stage with two shows nightly at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Catch him Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25) and Mondays through Thursdays starting May 26 through June 5. Tanner returns for performances every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from June 9 through August 20, with a special Independence Day performance on July 4. Known for his infectious energy, sing-alongs, and beachy vibes, Shannon Tanner’s shows are a must-see for HarbourFest visitors.


Meanwhile, Cappy the Clown brings smiles and laughter to kids of all ages with face painting, balloon animals and playful antics. You’ll find Cappy from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, from Memorial Day Weekend through August 29, with additional appearances over Labor Day Weekend.

Fireworks Light Up the Sky

No summer evening at HarbourFest is complete without the awe-inspiring fireworks show over Shelter Cove Harbour. This year, fireworks will light up the sky every Tuesday night starting June 3 and running through August 19, with a special show on Friday, July 4th  to celebrate Independence Day.


Mark your calendars for these dates: June 3, 10, 17, 24; July 4, 8, 15, 22, 29; and August 5, 12, and 19. All fireworks shows begin as soon as the sky is dark enough for the best viewing experience. (Pro tip: Arrive early to snag a spot along the marina!)

Parrot Palooza Brings the Island Vibes

For fans of Jimmy Buffett and island tunes, don’t miss Parrot Palooza with Shannon Tanner and The Oyster Reefers. Every Thursday night from June 12 to August 21 — plus special shows over Labor Day Weekend — Parrot Palooza turns Shelter Cove into a mini tropical paradise with classic beach music and laid-back fun.
